With the agreement between the Government, Regions and Local Authorities signed at the Unified Conference on 4 May 2017, agreement was reached on the unified and standardised forms to be used for communications and applications for commercial (and assimilated) activities and the Construction sector. Businesses wishing to open, for example, a shop, a bar, or a commercial establishment (including e-commerce and home sales activities) or to start construction work, will therefore have certain timeframes and rules and a reduction in costs and formalities, with simpler forms to fill in.

By 30 June, the newly unified forms will be implemented across Italy; a preview of a business application, simulating the launch of a small enterprise, is now accessible.
