Expansion of the Special Economic Zone for Southern Italy – Single SEZ for Marche and Umbria
Pursuant to Law 171/2025, the Special Economic Zone for Southern Italy – Single SEZ is expanding: in addition to the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Apulia, Sicily, and Sardinia, starting from November 20, 2025, the regions of Marche and Umbria are added. The municipalities involved increase from the current 2.500 to 2.817.
The S.U.D SEZ Desk constitutes the only digital tool through which companies intending to establish a production facility in any of the territories within the SEZ area can submit their request for a Single Authorization.
