The One-Stop Shop will operate exclusively electronically both towards businesses and in relations with other PAs involved in the various procedures, and will make use of the information and operational services of the "Impresainungiorno.gov.it" web portal, which must also ensure interoperability with regional web portals already created or to be created in the future.
The national web portal "Impresainungiorno.gov.it" is introduced by Art. 38 as an enhancement of the impresa.gov website aiming at a nationwide offer of services to businesses for all economic activities.
The One-Stop Shop for Productive Activities (SUAP) is the sole public body of reference for all procedures having as its purpose the pursuit of productive activities and the provision of services, as well as those relating to the location, realisation, transformation, restructuring, or reconversion, expansion or transfer, as well as termination or resumption of the aforesaid activities. Productive Activities refer to the production of goods and services, including agricultural, commercial and craft activities, tourist and hotel activities, services provided by banks and financial intermediaries and telecommunications services, etc.
The applicant is guaranteed a single, timely electronic response on behalf of the other municipal offices and all the public administrations involved in the procedure (competent authorities), including those in charge of environmental protection, landscape-territorial protection, historical-artistic heritage or the protection of health and public safety.
The following are excluded from the application of the SUAP regulations under Presidential Decree No. 160/2010:
All the front-office phases and processes for handling users' administrative procedures for productive activities and the related technical documents are automated within the SUAP where the business activity is carried out or the facility is located.
The SUAP then forwards the documentation electronically to any other public administrations and bodies involved in the procedure (Province, Local Healthcare Authorities, Fire Brigade, etc.).
Electronic communication will further streamline the coordination of activities connected to the establishment of businesses mentioned in the Single Communication.
The SUAP operates exclusively electronically, also with regard to payments: it provides a payment system for fees, taxes and charges, however denominated, relating to the performance of the tasks and procedures managed by the SUAP.
Impresainungiorno.gov serves as the connecting system to the new functions and methods of the SUAP, a single nation-wide tool for the streamlining of information data and access to the front-end of SUAPs, a unified access point for the submission of applications relating to the entire business life cycle.
It allows businesses, anywhere in Italy and Europe, to find information on the territorially competent SUAP to which they should submit their requests, including details on the type of procedure required, the documentation to be provided, the forms to be used, and the status of their application.
In Italy, the web portal impresainungiorno.gov, the online network of all One-Stop Shops, serves as the national Point of Single Contact (PSC) provided for by the Services
