The complete digitisation of the SUAP is confirmed as a strategic objective of the 2022-2026 Simplification Agenda

The Agenda is one of the tools available to the government to implement the administrative simplification measures considered essential to support the growth of businesses established in Italy.

On 11 May, at a meeting of the Unified State-Regions Conference, the Agenda was updated and aligned with the objectives set by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, setting four strategic areas, one of which focuses on the full digitisation of administrative procedures falling within the remit of the One-Stop Shop for Productive Activities (SUAP) and the One-Stop Shop for Construction (SUE), and another on the re-engineering of 200 simplified procedures by 2024, and 600 by 2026.

The concrete implementation of the actions passes through a working method that provides for close coordination between government, regions and local authorities, with responsibilities and objectives identified by an analytical timetable that allows stakeholders to check the progress of the achievement of the objectives.
