The "Business Dossier" is a Chambers of Commerce service that gives all public administrations direct access to documents and files relating to businesses, without having to request copies from the businesses themselves.

It was provided for in Article 4 paragraphs 8 and 9 of Presidential Decree 160/2010, and is the result of'the information exchange between the Business Register and the SUAP .

The "Business Dossier" thus consists of the files and documents submitted to the One-Stop Shop for Productive Activities (SUAP) and forwarded to the Chamber of Commerce; in addition to such documents, it also collects certificates issued in Italy by a number of Certification Bodies, in particular:

• Accredia (Italian Accreditation Body)
• ANAC (National Anti-Corruption Authority, for SOA certificates)
• Ecocerved (which manages the National Register of Environmental Managers on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment).

Through this service, public administrations can consult and verify the authorisations of a business without having to request a copy of the document from the Business itself.

SUAPs can access business dossiers through:

•  the process management tools (the Chamber of Commerce's SUAP) made available by Chambers of Commerce through special agreements.
•  the services provided by the SU.RI. system.

Businesses owners can access, via CNS or SPID, their Business Dossier provided by the  ‘impresa italia’  system.
