The SUAP receives and processes:
 certified notifications of commencement of business (SCIA) to report the start, transformation, relocation, and termination of a business)
 authorisation requests (including the single environmental authorisation - AUA)
 these must be sent to the SUAP exclusively online (as per the provisions of Presidential Decree no. 160 of 7 September 2010, and as per Legislative Decree no. 59 of 26 March 2010).
