The release of the new "Accreditation System" (see News) was a decisive step toward a simple, uniform digital One-Stop Shop throughout Italy. The first SUAP Front Office, SUAP Back Office, and Third Party Back Office solutions are already registered in the SSU Catalog, effectively paving the way for organizations (primarily municipalities) to become accredited immediately.

To facilitate this process of adopting the new technical specifications, the timeframes available to institutions for accreditation have been updated in accordance with the latest regulatory changes.

In the Official Journal No. 169 of July 23, 2025, the Decree of July 15, 2025 (MIMIT and Ministry of Public Administration) was published, extending the mandatory adoption of the New SUAP Technical Specifications by seven months. The deadline is extended from July 25, 2025, to February 25, 2026, providing more time for organizations and software houses to adapt their systems.
