What it is and what it is good for

The Single Business Communication is an on line procedure which simplifies the relationship between businesses and public administration.

In a single e- filing procedure, all the obligations of the parties concerned shall be complied to authorities such as the Chambers of Commerce, the national Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate), the National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work(INAIL) and the National Institute of Social Security (INPS):

  • registration in the Italian Business Register
  • registration in the Economic and Administrative Repertory (REA)
  • request for the Fiscal code and VAT number
  • registration of employees and other workers with the Social Security Agency, INPS
  • establishment of mandatory coverage for worker compensation and disability insurance with INAIL

It is possible to delegate the above activities to an intermediary agent who can then legally perform all the e-filing operations

 

Benefits

Thanks to the coordination between these bodies, it has been possible to initiate administrative simplification processes in the relationship between companies and public administration. In fact, all the obligations can be fulfilled by turning to a single entry point the Italian Business Register, who send the digital file containing the information for all the entities.

Costs and methods of payment

Applications submitted to the National Business Register shall be subject to administrative fees, where applicable the amount of which varies – from EUR 18 to EUR 90 – in relation to the person concerned  and the type of dossier.

To file the online application is requested  a  variable stamp duty where applicable – from EUR 17.50 to EUR 65.00 – depending on the type of company concerned.
