As of 1 January 2024, the Special Economic Zone for Southern Italy - Single SEZ has been established, which includes all the municipalities in the territories of the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Apulia, Sicily and Sardinia. The One-stop Shop SEZ of the South of Italy is the tool through which businesses intending to submit a project to set up in a single digital desk SEZ for Southern Italy will be able to apply for a Single Authorisation. The Dedicated Unit incorporates the functions already held by the Extraordinary Commissioners of the 8 Special Economic Zones.
The Information Support platform for Public Administrations is now available, a help desk service that offers all those involved in adapting their services to the specifications of the One-Stop Shops IT System self-care functions for autonomously searching for useful information (relating to the PNRR M1C1 project, sub-investment 2.2.3, Digitisation of Procedures for Construction and One-Stop Shops operations') and the possibility of contacting a dedicated support team by filling in a form accessible from the 'Contact Us' section of the Web Portal itself.
The Information Support has free access and can be reached from the new One-Stop Shops Information System (OSS) page, available in the section Businesses and the Municipality - Public Administrations.
The Interministerial Decree was published in the Official Journal General Series no. 276 of 25 November 2023 'Amendments to the technical annex of the decree of the President of the Republic of 7 September 2010, n. 160, regarding technical specifications and reorganisation of the discipline on the one-stop shop for productive activities (SUAP)” which establishes the new technical specifications for interoperability for the communication and transfer of data between the SUAPs and all the competent authorities involved in the proceedings presented by businesses.
