ZES: The launch of the Digital One-Stop Shops has been completed

Within the scope of this Web Portal, the start-up of the Digital One-Stop Shops of the eight Special Economic Zones (ZES) set up with the aim of attracting investment and fostering the growth of operating businesses or the establishment of new ones in as many port and back-port areas of the country, has been completed. Businesses wishing to establish themselves in a Special Economic Zone will benefit from tax concessions and a simplification of the administrative procedures required for setting up their business based on the release of a Single ZES Authorisation by the Extraordinary Commissioner of the ZES. In order to promote awareness of the opportunities related to locating in ZES areas and to illustrate the procedures for submitting a Single ZES authorisation application through the digital One-Stop Shop, a series of webinars specifically dedicated to businesses has been scheduled for November.

Technical rules determining the functioning of the SUAP have been updated

On 3 December 2021, the Decree of the Minister for Public Administration, the Minister for Economic Development and the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition was published in the Official Journal, approving the Electronic communication and data transfer modalities of the One-Stop Shops IT System.
